For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY. The City of Hodgenville, Kentucky, acting by and through its City Council or by and through such other body as shall be the governing body of said city under the laws of the state at any given time.
CUSTOMER. The fee simple property owner, or his or her legally authorized agent, and/or his or her tenant who has agreed to purchase water and/or sewer service from the city.
MANAGER. The manager, superintendent, or other person duly employed and authorized by the city to supervise the operation of the system.
SYSTEM. The combined and consolidated water and sewer system of the city, as now or hereafter constituted.
