§ 153.26 MEETINGS AND RULES.
   The Board of Adjustment shall elect one of its members as Chairperson. The Board shall adopt rules in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. Meetings of the Board shall be held at the call of the Chairperson and at such other times as the Board may determine. The Chairperson, or, in his or her absence, the Acting Chairperson, may administer oaths and compel the attendance of witnesses by subpoena. The Board of Adjustment shall be subject to the open meeting laws of the state, and all meetings, deliberations, and voting of the Board shall be open to the public. The Board shall keep the minutes of its proceedings, showing the vote of each member upon each question, or if absent or failing to vote, indicating such facts, and shall keep records of all official actions, all of which shall be immediately filed in the office of the City Clerk and shall be a public record.
