§ 32.003 COMPANY OFFICERS.

   (A)   Company officers of the Volunteer Department are selected by the Chief based upon the following criteria:

      (1)   Knowledge of fire fighting;

      (2)   Leadership ability; and

      (3)   Knowledge of firefighting equipment.

   (B)   One member elected by the members of the Volunteer Fire Department is a Secretary-Treasurer. His or her duties shall consist of the following:

      (1)   Calling the roll at the opening of each meeting;

      (2)   Keeping the minutes of each meeting; and

      (3)   Collecting any money due the Department by the members.
