§ 118.01 TAXICAB DEFINED.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   TAXICAB. Any motor vehicle operated on, over, or upon the streets of the city, for the transportation of passengers for hire, and not operated over a fixed route or on a fixed schedule.
