(A) The Manual on Uniform Traffic-Control Devices, 1988 Edition, as approved by the Federal Highway Administrator and as adopted by the Oklahoma State Department of Transportation, is adopted and incorporated as currently approved, or as subsequently amended.
(B) All traffic-control signs, signals, and devices and other highway and street markings shall conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic-Control Devices as approved by the Federal Highway Administrator and as adopted by the Oklahoma State Department of Transportation. All signs and signals required hereunder for a particular purpose shall, so far as practicable, be uniform as to type and location throughout the municipality. All traffic-control devices so erected and not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter, shall be official traffic-control devices.
