(A) The four wards of the city shall consist of the following areas, and as amended from time to time.
(1) First ward (Ward One) consists of all that land or area lying within the limits of the city, and within the following boundaries: Beginning at the Hobart City limit on north Broadway Street, following the city limit eastward to the half-section line of Section 35, T7N, R18 W.I.M.; thence south on the said half-section line to Iris Street (Section Line EW 1370); thence east on Iris Street to the east boundary of city limit; thence south on city limit to First Street; thence west on First Street to Blaine Street; thence south on Blaine to Third Street; thence west on Third Street to the west track of the St. Louis and San Francisco RR; south on the track to Fourth Street; thence west on Fourth Street to Broadway; thence north on Broadway to Elm Street; thence west on Elm Street to Hill Street; thence north on Hill Street to Forest Street; thence east on Forest Street to Broadway Street.
(2) Second ward (Ward Two) consists of all that land or area lying within the limits of the city and within the following described boundaries: From the northwest corner of Hobart City limit follows the city limit eastward to Broadway Street; thence south on Broadway Street to Forest Street; west on Forest Street to Hill Street; thence south on Hill Street to Elm Street; east on Elm Street to Broadway Street; thence south on Broadway to First Street; thence west on First Street to Lowe Street; north on Lowe Street to Ash Street; thence west on Ash Street to Park Street; south on Park Street to Iris Street; thence west on Iris Street to city limit; thence north on Ohio Street to Ash Street; thence west to city limit; thence north to the point of beginning.
(3) Third ward (Ward Three) consists of all that land or area lying within the limits of the city, which includes the areas as described as follows: From the beginning point of Hobart City limit on west Iris Street; east on Iris Street to Park Street; thence north on Park to Ash Street; thence east on Ash Street to Lowe Street; thence south on Lowe to First Street; thence east on First Street to Broadway; thence south on Broadway to Fourth Street; thence west on Fourth to Hitchcock Street; thence south on Hitchcock Street to Fifth Street; thence west on Fifth Street to the west boundary of Hobart City limit.
(4) Fourth ward (Ward Four) consists of all that land or area lying within the limits of the city and within the following described boundaries: Including all the areas south of Ward One and Ward Three.
(B) References to streets, avenues, highways, roads, and rights-of-way in division (A) above shall mean the centerlines thereof, and reference to the boundary of the city limits shall mean the boundary or limits of the city as it now exists or as it may hereafter exist.
