The General Floodplain District shall include those areas designated as Zone A on the flood insurance rate map adopted in § 152.005 of this chapter. The General Floodplain District shall be considered an overlay zoning district to all existing land use districts in this community. The uses permitted § 152.026 of this chapter shall only be allowable if not prohibited by any existing underlying zoning district regulations of the community. The requirements of this chapter shall apply in addition to other legally established regulations of the community and where this chapter imposes greater restrictions, the provisions of this chapter shall apply.
