§ 151.20 HOUSES, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES REQUIRED TO BE NUMBERED.
   All lots, buildings, structures and properties in Bullitt Cuonty, Kentucky, including all properties located within the municipal boundaries of the present cities or any new city created within Bullitt County, shall be numbered in accordance with the following plan:
   (A)   There is hereby adopted a grid system as follows: The county wide numbering grid system shall consist of a series of parallel lines running generally east and west and north and south. Said system is founded upon base lines from which number lines designated by hundreds are assigned to parallel grid lines.
   (B)   The two (2) base lines to be used in locating said parallel lines and said grid system shall be a line running north and south and a line running east and west of which shall pass through a reference point, said point being the physical intersection point of Kentucky Highway #61 (Preston Highway) and Kentucky #44 located within the city limits of the City of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky as of January 1, 1985. All buildings, lots, structures and properties shall be consistently and consecutively numbered from the appropriate base line in the manner described below.
   (C)   Each building, lot, structure or property located on or having an access road or driveway intersecting a road designated as a north-south road shall be assigned a north or south number with reference to its distance, north or south, of a base line described above, running east and west. Each building located on or having an access road or driveway intersecting a road designated an east-west road shall be assigned an east or west number with reference to its distance, east or west, of the base line described above, running north or south. Even numbers shall be assigned to buildings, lots or properties located on or having an access road or driveway intersecting the south side of an east-west road or the east side of a north-south road.
