(A) The City Council hereby adopts as the safe and practical standards for the installation, alteration and use of electrical equipment in the city the rules and regulations of the National Board of Fire Protection Association as contained in the code known as the 1978 National Electric Code.
(B) The National Electric Code is adopted by reference as if the 1978 National Electric Code was copied herein in full. A copy of said 1978 National Electric Code containing such rules and regulations is now on file in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer and the provisions of said Code and said rules and regulations are hereby made a part of this chapter as if copied herein in full.
