§ 39.66 RECREATIONAL COORDINATOR.
   Job description, duties and responsibilities. Class Code 5501.
   (A)   Classification: Part-time salaried.
   (B)   Characteristics of the class. Under general administrative direction, plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the activities of the Recreation Department. Maintains recreational areas inside and outside in an orderly and clean manner. Does related work as required.
   (C)   Examples of duties.
      (1)   Plans, directs and does scheduling of department activities.
      (2)   Responsible for opening/closing gym.
      (3)   Responsible for rental contract to be signed by renters.
      (4)   Responsible for collection of rental fees.
      (5)   Responsible for routine custodial work in and around public buildings.
   (D)   Illustration of work. Sweeps, mops, washes walls, windows, cleans woodwork, and vacuums carpets, cleans offices, cleans restrooms, and replenishes supplies, and maintains grounds. Requires renters to sign contracts, collects fees and deposits with City Clerk/Treasurer.
   (E)   Requirements of work.
      (1)   Working knowledge of recreation activities and scheduling.
      (2)   Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
      (3)   Some skills in making minor repairs to building and equipment.
   (F)   Desirable experience and training. Some experience in recreation, sports and custodial work and ability to read and write or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
   (G)   Tools to be used. Power mower, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, mops, broom, paint brush, shovel (snow), vacuum-shampoo (carpet).
