§ 39.31 FRINGE BENEFITS.
   (A)   (1)   Any new full-time city employee (hired after February 23, 2004) shall be eligible to participate in the group health insurance plan after successful completion of the first sixty (60) days of their probationary period.
      (2)   The employee shall be enrolled with the city’s group health insurance plan on the first of the month following the successful completion of the first sixty (60) days of their probationary period.
      (3)   Eligible employees are entitled to participate in the group health insurance plan furnished by the city at no cost to the employee. Employees desiring to add their spouse or eligible dependents to the group health insurance shall do so at their own expense in excess of allotted amount paid by city.
   (B)    All full-time employees and all part-time employees working on a five (5) day week schedule shall be entitled to the life insurance in the amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) furnished at no cost to the employee.
   (C)   All eligible employees shall participate in the retirement plan through the county employees retirement system, of which the City of Hillview is a member. The county employees retirement system shall determine the eligibility of all employees.
