(A) Upon the department head's recommendation and with the Mayor's approval, an employee may be temporarily suspended with or without pay:
(1) For disciplinary reasons; or
(2) In anticipation of the results of an investigation of charges against an employee.
(B) Any suspended employee shall receive a written notice of the suspension. The notice shall state:
(1) The reasons for the suspension; and
(2) The duration of the suspension.
(C) A copy of the notice shall be kept in the employee's personnel file.
(D) The suspended employee may request a grievance hearing.
