§ 39.10 PROBATION.
   (A)   Every person entering city service shall be required to successfully complete a probationary period of six (6) months unless a longer probationary period for a particular position is required by statute.
   (B)    Prior to completion of the first forty-five (45) days of employment but not less than sixty (60) days, the employee's performance will be evaluated by their supervisor.
   (C)   During the first three (3) months of employment a new employee is not allowed vacation or sick time. If an employee terminates before the end of the probationary period of six (6) months, no payment will be made for any benefits.
   (D)   If employed by the city as a regular full-time employee at the end of the probationary period, sick leave and vacation time shall accrue from the first day worked.
   (E)   After successful completion of the probationary period, employees will be continually evaluated on the quality of their work.
