(A) Any person convicted of a violation of state or local law within the city or upon city property for which conviction a jail sentence is imposed, shall be required to pay for the actual cost to the city for any jail time served by the person, upon completion of the sentence.
(B) The City Auditor, after billing the convicted person and receiving no satisfaction for a period of 30 days, shall certify the costs to the Director of Law for collection in the name of the city as in other civil cases.
