Prior to the issuance of the license, the applicant shall furnish and leave on file with the Safety and Service Director an insurance policy or policies for liability imposed by law (except for injuries, death, or property damage to the insured or the insured’s employees) in a reliable insurance company authorized to transact business in the state, insuring the use of the vehicle in limits of not less than $100,000 for bodily injuries to or death of one person; $300,000 on account of any one accident resulting in injuries to or death of more than one person; $25,000 on account of damage to property in any one accident.
