§ 112.05 USE OF POLES, POST, AND OTHER STRUCTURES.
   (A)   In the mode of use of the surface, sub-surface, space above, below, or adjoining the streets, sidewalks, and alleys of the city, the grantee shall at all times be subject to and comply with all proper and legal ordinances, rules, and regulations of the city now existing or hereafter enacted. Poles, posts, and other structures of telephone companies, power companies, and others which may be made available to grantee by these companies for leasing or licensing, shall be used to the extent practicable in order to minimize interference with travel.
   (B)   Before the grantee sets poles on city property, it shall file with the city notice of its intention, which shall specify the exact location, height, and dimensions of the poles. The poles shall not be erected thereafter until the specifications are approved by the City Safety and Service Director or his or her designated representative.
