All construction for halfway houses, hostels, rooming houses, and group homes shall conform to state building regulations related to fire safety as well as conform to local fire safety, zoning, and building ordinances. Evidence of conforming to zoning ordinances shall be presented in writing to the office of the Safety and Service Director. Fire codes and building codes used in the design of the building shall be recorded with plans submitted.
