§ 34.04 RE-EMPLOYMENT AFTER RETIREMENT.
   (A)   Any employee who retires from city employment shall, upon separation, be paid all benefits to which they are entitled by law. In the event such retired employee is appointed or re-hired by the city, said retired employee shall be hired only upon application and under the same terms as is required of any person with no previous employment with the city.
   (B)   Any person who has been previously employed by the city and has separated by reason of retirement shall comply with all requirements of the public employment retirement system from which he or she may seek benefits, and in the event a re-hire is anticipated at the time of separation, the supervisor of the department to which the employee is assigned shall be notified at the time of separation.
