(A) In every case reported, as provided in § 33.02, there shall be taxed for each day’s service of the official court reporter, a fee, to be collected as other costs in the case. The fees collected shall be paid by the Clerk of the Municipal Court into the city treasury.
(B) When any court reporter is requested in a civil case, the party making the request shall deposit, as security for costs, a sum with the Clerk of the Municipal Court at the time of making the request.
