§ 90.24 RABIES CONTROL; INOCULATION.
   (A)   Whenever the Mayor shall deem it necessary for the protection of the public, he or she shall issue an order prohibiting, for a certain time therein specified, any dog from being at large in any public street or place, unless muzzled and on leash, so as effectually to prevent it from biting any person or animal. The order shall be posted in three conspicuous places in the city, for the period of time the Mayor deems necessary. Any dog found at large during the existence of the quarantine order shall be impounded and may be destroyed by city authority without notice to the owner.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person owning or harboring any dog, to maintain or harbor the animal unless the dog is inoculated against rabies. Re-inoculation of this animal shall be had by the owner thereof whenever the need for this is prescribed by the County Dog Warden.
