There is hereby created, pursuant to R.C. § 149.39, the Records Commission of the city. The Commission shall consist of the Mayor, who shall be the Chairperson of the Records Commission, and three additional members. The Commission may, with the advice and assistance of city officials having custody of the various city records, promulgate rules and regulations for the reproduction of city records by lawful means, for the purpose of more economical storage and improved safety thereof, may conduct investigations of the necessity for and the practicality of these plans, and may establish schedules for the listing of the various city records for disposal.
