§ 30.040 REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETINGS; QUORUM.
   (A)   The regular meeting of City Council shall be held the first Thursday after the second Monday of each month, unless it is a recognized state or federal holiday, in which case, Council shall elect a different meeting night. Council meeting shall come to order at 7:00 p.m. and may be recessed from time to time until the meeting shall be adjourned by a majority of the members.
   (B)   Special meetings may be called by three or more members of the Council, by the President of Council, or by the Safety and Service Director. Notice of the special session stating time, place, and object, shall be served personally upon each member of the Council and any other person whose presence is requested at the meeting, or left at their usual places of residence at least 24 hours before the time of meeting.
   (C)   The majority of the Council members elected shall constitute a quorum. In the event a quorum cannot be obtained, the meeting may be adjourned as provided for in § 30.041.
