§ 37.01 APPLICATION.
   (A)   This chapter shall apply to the method of notifying the public and the news media of meetings of all public bodies, as defined in § 37.02, of the municipality, in conformity with R.C. § 121.22, as amended from time to time. The provisions of this chapter are in addition to any other requirements imposed by law pertaining to the notification of meetings to be given to the members of any public body, the public, or the news media. These provisions shall not apply to an executive session held at a regular or special meeting of any public body which is conducted for the purpose of considering any of the matters set forth in R.C. § 121.22(G), nor shall these provisions apply to any other meeting, conference, or discussion specifically exempted by law from the requirements imposed by the Ohio Revised Code.
   (B)   These provisions governing special meetings shall apply to the organizational meetings of the public bodies.
