§ 35.100 TAX FUNDS TO BE DEPOSITED IN GENERAL FUND.
   The funds collected under the provisions of this subchapter shall be deposited in the General Fund and the funds collected from the imposition date of the tax under this subchapter shall be disbursed for the following:
   (A)   The part thereof as shall be necessary to defray all cost of collecting the taxes and the cost of administering and enforcing the provisions thereof; and
   (B)   The balance of any monies collected under the provisions of this subchapter shall be allocated in the manner regulated by law to provide funds for the purposes of general municipal operations, including, but not limited to, maintenance, new equipment, extension, and enlargement of municipal services and facilities, and capital improvements for the city.
