(A) Whenever there is an offense described in this code for which no term of imprisonment or jail is prescribed, or for which no fine is prescribed, the following shall be imposed: a fine of not more than $500 and incarceration of not more than 180 days, or either.
(B) Each act or omission which is prohibited or declared unlawful in this code is a misdemeanor, with penalties as set forth in this code.
