(a) Water rates inside the city. The price for water for users within the city limits, per month, shall be: the first 3,000 gallons purchased shall be at the cost of $32. For usage in excess of 3,000 gallons, it shall be at the rate of $2 per 1,000 gallons used. Beginning February 15, 2020 and each year thereafter for a total of three years, the above rates will increase each year by 2%.
(b) Water rates outside the city. The price for water for users outside the corporate limits of the city, per month, shall be: the first 3,000 gallons purchased shall be at the cost of $34. For usage in excess of 3,000 gallons, it shall be at the rate of $2 per 1,000 gallons used. Beginning February 15, 2020 and each year thereafter for a total of three years, the above rates will increase each year by 2%.
(c) Bulk water sales rates. The rate for the coin-operated bulk water sales machine located at the Police Department is hereby established to be $1 per 240 gallons.
