§ 14-212 TRUCK ROUTES.
   (a)   Truck routes in the city shall be as follows:
      (1)   Prout Street from Highway 283 east to east city limits;
      (2)   Pomeroy Avenue from U.S. 24 north to Prout Street;
      (3)   Fourth Avenue (U.S. 283) from north city limits to south city limits;
      (4)   Main Street (U.S. 24) from east city limits to west city limits; and
      (5)   Plum Street east from U.S. Highway 283 to Pomeroy Avenue.
   (b)   (1)   As of March 21, 2005, it shall be unlawful for any truck to utilize or drive on that certain section of Walnut Street in the city, between Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue, also known as U.S. Highway 283, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on any day that school is in session for the Hill City Schools/USD 281.
      (2)   For the purposes of this section, TRUCK shall mean any commercial vehicle in excess of 16,000 pounds.
      (3)   Any person convicted of violating this section shall be lined a sum not to exceed $25 for each violation.
