For the purpose of this article, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CONCESSION STAND.
(1) Includes any business venture operated for the purpose of selling concessions, soft drinks, candy, popcorn, confectioneries and other types of food or drink to the public on public property (irrespective of whether such property is owned by the state, the county, the city or Unified School District No. 281).
(2) Such sales shall specifically refer to, but not be limited to, sporting activities sponsored by the City Recreation Commission. Excluded from the provisions of this article are all activities sponsored or sanctioned by Unified School District No. 281.
