§ 5-302 PERMIT REQUIRED.
   (a)   No sales, solicitation, inquiries, proposals or other methods to accomplish a sale shall be made without first obtaining a permit to do so as described herein. All persons and/or businesses wishing to utilize the method of door-to-door sales within the city limits, shall first obtain a permit to do so from the City Clerk at City Hall, 205 N. Pomeroy Avenue, Hill City, Kansas.
   (b)   Permits for door-to-door sales may be issued by the City Clerk upon due and correct application made during normal business hours as determined by the Clerk. The application to be completed for such a permit shall include, at a minimum, all salespersons’ names, the business name, the business address, the business telephone number, a list of products to be sold, all salespersons’ vehicle descriptions, license plate numbers and a copy of each salesperson’s driver’s licenses, together with any additional information required by the City Clerk. The Clerk is hereby authorized to issue said permits only 24 hours after the permit application is received.
