(a) All mobile homes shall be tied down to the ground to prevent damage to the mobile home and surrounding property during high velocity winds. All tie down anchors shall be ANSI approved screw type. All turnbuckles, cinch screws and other interconnecting links between the tie down strap and tie down anchor shall be ANSI approved or shall be of at least one-half inch in size with closed eye or jaw-end couplings and lock nuts.
(b) One tie down is required for every 20 feet or part thereof of the length of the mobile home. Tie downs shall be located no closer than ten feet nor further apart than 30 feet. Tie downs shall be located not more than 15 feet from each end of the mobile home.
