§ 3-304 HOURS OF SALE.
   (a)   The city, by the power vested in it by the State Constitution, Art. 12, § 5, hereby elects to and does exempt itself and make inapplicable to it K.S.A. 41-712, and K.S.A. 41-2704, which apply to this city but is part of the enactment commonly known as the State Liquor Control Act, which enactment applies to this city but does not apply uniformly to all cities, together with the amendment made by the State Legislature under S.B. 298 as referenced above.
   (b)   The following is hereby substituted for the provisions of K.S.A. 41-712 and K.S.A. 41-2704, as amended:
      (1)   Sale at retail; forbidden on certain days; hours of sale exception; and
      (2)   No person shall sell at retail any alcoholic liquor or cereal malt beverage:
         (A)   On Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or Easter;
         (B)   Before 6:00 a.m. or after 11:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday; or
         (C)   On Sunday.
