4-3-11: MINORS AND HOURS OF OPERATION:
   A.   Minors On Premises; Days And Hours Prohibited:
      1.   No person, partnership, firm or corporation, or employee of same, controlling an establishment containing any amusement device or public pool or billiard table, including premises for which an arcade license has been granted, shall permit any person under the age of eighteen (18) years, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, to remain in the arcade or area where the games are available before three o'clock (3:00) P.M. on any day during which public school in the school district in which the city is located is in regular session nor after nine o'clock (9:00) P.M. of any day of the week. No physical force shall be used to enforce this requirement, but the establishment shall immediately notify the city police department and the school district truant enforcement officers, if applicable.
      2.   Each licensee under this chapter shall display a sign with substantially the following wording, or with other wording giving substantially the same meaning:
         NOTICE
         IF YOU ARE UNDER EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN IN THIS ARCADE ON SCHOOL DAYS DURING THE HOURS WHEN SCHOOL IS IN SESSION. FURTHER, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THIS ARCADE AFTER THE HOUR OF 9:00 P.M.
      3.   No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall enter or remain within any bowling alley premises or premises for which an arcade license is issued, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, on any day during which public schools in the school district in which the city is located are in regular session, nor after nine o'clock (9:00) P.M. on any day of the week.
   B.   Days And Hours Of Operation Generally:
      1.   Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter to the contrary, no premises for which an arcade license is issued shall be open to the public other than the following days and hours:
         Monday through Thursday, ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. to ten o'clock (10:00) P.M.
         Friday, ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. to eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M.
         Saturday, nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. to eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M.
         Sunday, nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. to ten o'clock (10:00) P.M.
      2.   Any applicant to which an arcade license is issued acknowledges that the hours of operation may be further limited or restricted in the future by the city. The issuance of an arcade license does not in any way restrict the city's privilege to modify this chapter to curtail or extend hours of operation during the term of the license.
