152.01 COMPENSATION OF ELECTED OFFICIALS.

(a) From and after January 1, 2002, the salary of each member of Council, except the President of Council, shall be eight thousand dollars ($8,000) per year.

(b) From and after January 1, 2002, the salary of the President of Council shall be nine thousand dollars ($9,000) per year.

(d) The continuing nature of the positions of member of Council, President of Council and Mayor, although demanding, continue to be part-time positions to which each official is required to devote that amount of time necessary to dispatch his duties in an efficient and competent manner. (Ord. 31-1990. Passed 10-2-90.)
