141.01 CREATION, COMPOSITION AND TERM.
   (a)    There is hereby established in the City, a Commission on Aging also known as (a.k.a.) Highland Heights Seniors, consisting of seven members.
   (b)   The Commission on Aging a.k.a. Highland Heights Seniors shall be constituted as follows: the Mayor shall appoint to the Commission six residents of the Municipality, four of which shall preferably be sixty years of age or older. Upon the expiration of the current two year terms expiring December 31, 1982, the Mayor shall appoint three members to the Commission to serve a term of two years and upon the expiration of the current two year terms expiring December 31, 1983, the Mayor shall appoint three members to the Commission to serve a term of two years. All subsequent appointments shall likewise be for terms of two years.
   
   (c)   Council shall elect one of its members to be a voting member of the Commission to serve a term of one calendar year. The first such Councilmember so elected shall serve on the Commission for the balance of the calendar year in which this section becomes effective and thereafter all subsequent Councilmembers elected shall serve a full one year term.
