129.01 ESTABLISHMENT AND APPOINTMENT OF BUILDING COMMISSIONER AND BUILDING INSPECTOR.

(a) There is hereby established the office of full-time Building Commissioner for the Municipality. The Building Commissioner shall be familiar with the construction of residential, commercial and public buildings.

(b) There is hereby established the office of full-time Building Inspector for the Municipality. The Building Inspector shall have the same qualifications as the Building Commissioner.

(c) The Building Commissioner and Building Inspector shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval by a majority of the members of Council, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. (Ord. 30-1982. Passed 6-8-82.)
