107.08 ETHICS LAW DUTIES OF COUNCIL CLERK.
(a) The Clerk of Council is hereby designated as the person responsible for compliance with all obligations now or hereafter imposed upon the City by Ohio R.C. 102.09 as it relates only to the members of Council and the Mayor.
(b) The Clerk of Council is hereby directed to maintain permanent records, including all documents necessary and proper to demonstrate compliance by the City with the requirements of Ohio R.C. 102.09, with respect to Council and the Mayor, elected or appointed, subject from time to time to the requirements of Ohio R.C. Chapter 102.
(c) The Clerk of Council is hereby further directed to notify the Ohio Ethics Commission of the incumbency of any members of Council and the Mayor, subject from time to time to the requirements of Ohio R.C. Chapter 102, immediately upon his assumption of office, in order that proper notice of filing requirements may be made by the Ethics Commission to all such officials of the City, in accordance with Ohio R.C. 102.02(B).
