103.02 HISTORIAN.

(b) The office provided for in subsection (a) hereof shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor, confirmed by a majority of the members of Council, and shall be for a period of one year, expiring on December 31 of the year of appointment. Such officer appointed hereunder shall receive no compensation.

(c) All materials compiled and any and all records obtained or produced by such office shall be the exclusive property of the Municipality, and shall be used only for the purposes determined by Council.
