SECTION 4.01 NUMBER AND TERM.

   The legislative powers of the Municipality, except as otherwise provided by this Charter and by the Constitution of the State of Ohio, shall be vested in a council of seven (7) members, three (3) of whom shall be elected by the people at large, and four (4) of whom shall be elected from wards, one (1) from each of the four (4) wards.

   Beginning with the municipal election in the year 2013, at large members of the Council shall be elected at the regular municipal election, and every fourth year thereafter to a term of four (4) years commencing on the first day of January next after such election, or until their successors are elected and qualified.

   Beginning with the municipal election in the year 2015, members of Council from each of the four (4) wards shall be elected at the regular municipal election every fourth year thereafter to a term of four (4) years commencing on the first day of January next after such election, or until their successors are elected and qualified.
