1311.28 EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE BONDS.

   Prior to the issuance of building permits for construction, of new residential structure, or additions to residential structures, the Building Commissioner shall collect the following:

   (a)   New construction a bond posted by the homeowner, or their authorized agent in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00).

   (b)   Addition or alterations to existing single family homes where the estimated cost is forty thousand dollars ($40,000) or greater a cash deposit of one thousand dollars ($1,000) is required.
