733.17 ACTION BY COUNCIL.

After the public hearing required by Section 733.15, and after receipt of the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, Council shall either adopt or deny the recommendation of the City Planning and Zoning Commission or adopt some modification thereof. Council may prescribe appropriate conditions and safeguards in conformity with this Zoning Code, and a violation of any such conditions and safeguards, when made a part of the terms under which the petition is granted shall be deemed a violation of this Zoning Code. If warranted, the Council shall instruct the Building Commissioner to issue a permit.
