1501.21 FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS.

(a) All Fire Department connections for standpipe systems and sprinkler systems shall be not less than 36 inches nor more than 42 inches above ground level.

(b) All Fire Department connections for standpipe systems and sprinkler systems shall be painted red. All exposed exterior piping leading to the Fire Department connection shall be painted white.
