1311.011 HANDLING FEES.

Any party paying a fee pursuant to this chapter by check shall be charged a fifty dollar ($50.00) handling fee if such check is returned from the bank as indicating the account on which the check was drawn having insufficient funds.

The acceptance of this fifty dollar ($50.00) handling fee by the City does not waive any further civil and/or criminal action which the City may have against the issuer. After a check is returned to the City as a result of insufficient funds of the account on which the check was drawn, the City may require the issuer of such check to pay for any fees under this chapter with certified funds.
