1306.04 TERMINATION.
   Fire walls are required to terminate as follows:
   (a)    When the roof construction is noncombustible, fire walls shall be built up tightly against the roof decking or shall extend beyond the roof.
   (b)    In all buildings where roof construction is combustible, fire walls shall be built up tightly against the roof decking with four feet of one-half inch Type X fire-rated dry wall applied to the underside of the roof adjacent to the fire wall.
   (c)    Buildings for use as townhouses, row houses, multiplexes and other buildings constructed with side by side multifamily family units shall be built with the roof elevation staggered a minimum of two feet, eight inches for at least every two dwelling units, unless the fire walls extend two feet, eight inches above the adjacent roof surface for every two dwelling units.
