717.06 RESTRICTIONS.

   Every person to whom a registration certificate is issued under the terms of this chapter shall be governed by the following rules and regulations:

   (a)    All circulars, samples or other matter shall be handed to an occupant of the property or left in a secure place on the premises.

   (b)    No person subject to the provisions of this chapter shall canvass or solicit, except between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time or 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daylight savings time, Monday through Saturday. No person shall canvass or solicit on Sunday or any legal holiday.

   (c)    No canvasser or solicitor shall enter or attempt to enter the house of any resident in the City without an express invitation from the occupant of the house.

   (d)    No person subject to the terms of this chapter shall make any false, fraudulent, misleading or deceptive statement during the course of that person's canvassing or soliciting activity within the City.

   (e)    No canvasser or solicitor shall engage in or transact any type of business or solicitation other than that specified in the registration application.
