711.01 FORTUNETELLING FOR A FEE PROHIBITED.

   No person, firm, corporation or unincorporated association shall charge a fee for the practice in the City of foretelling or pretending to foretell future events or engaging in any manner in the practice of foretelling future events or prophesying the future, nor hold out to the public that such practices are available for a fee. This section applies to the practices named, regardless of the name given to such practice, such practices as palm reading, card reading, horoscope reading and all such similar practices being included within the prohibition.
