709.24 FIRE EXTINGUISHERS FOR KITCHEN UNITS.

All rooms designed for kitchen use and enclosures containing heating and cooking appliances shall be provided with approved fire extinguishing equipment. Such fire extinguishers shall not be placed in close proximity to fire units, or in any other position affecting their availability in the event of a fire. No cooking shall be permitted except in areas designed for kitchen use. (Ord. 31-1964. Passed 1-12-65.)
