509.12 CAUSING NOISE DISTURBANCE FROM RADIOS, TAPE PLAYERS, CD PLAYERS OR OTHER SOUND DEVICES.
   (a)   For purposes of this section “noise disturbance” means any sound which:
      (1)   Endangers or injures the safety or health of humans or animals;
      (2)   Disturbs a reasonable person of normal sensibility; or
      (3)   Endangers or injures personal or real property.
   (b)   No person shall operate, play or permit the operation or playing of any radio, tape player, CD player or similar device in such a manner as to create a continuing noise disturbance at fifty feet from such device within the Municipality. An exception is made for organized events which have received a valid permit from the City.
   (c)   A violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor of the second degree.
