373.12 VIOLATIONS; IMPOUNDING; SUSPENSION OF RIDING PRIVILEGES.

(a) Whenever any person operates a bicycle or tricycle in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, the bicycle or tricycle may be impounded by any member of the Police Department. Such impoundment shall not exceed five days.

(b) Whenever any bicycle or tricycle is found to be in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, the bicycle or tricycle may be impounded by any member of the Police Department. Such impoundment shall not exceed five days.

(c) The Court may prohibit a violator of any of the provisions of this chapter from riding a bicycle or tricycle for a period not to exceed three months. Such action shall be in addition to the penalties provided in Section 303.99.

(d) Any minor who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be dealt with in accordance with Juvenile Court law and procedure.
