373.01 CODE APPLICATION TO BICYCLES AND TRICYCLES; TRICYCLE DEFINED.

   (a)   The regulations applicable to bicycles set forth in this chapter, shall apply whenever a bicycle or tricycle is operated upon a sidewalk, street, highway, boulevard or public place or upon a public path set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles or tricycles.

   (b)   Every person operating a bicycle or tricycle shall obey the instructions of official traffic control devices and signals applicable to vehicles, unless otherwise directed by a police officer.

   (c)    For the purposes of this chapter, "tricycle" means a three-wheeled adult vehicle propelled by human power having a single front wheel and two parallel rear wheels.
