(a) Council hereby authorizes the Village Fire Department to provide fire protection services to any county, municipal corporation or township of this State upon authorization of the officer or employer of Highland Hills Fire Department designated in subsection (b) hereof.
(b) The Chief of the Highland Fire Department or his designee is designated as the officer or employee of the Highland Hills Fire Department to grant authorization for providing fire protection services as set forth in subsection (a) hereof as may be appropriate in his or her discretion.
